Drink Negus is a cocktails drink also called hot drinks. The ingredients are 2 oz lbv port, 1 oz claret, 1 oz sparkling burgundy wine, 1 tsp brandy, 2 oz water, 1/2 lemon, 1 pinch nutmeg, 1 tsp sugar. You should serve the Negus in a wine goblet. Making a Negus is easy, you simply heat ingredients (with lemon thinly sliced into rings, and a heaped teaspoon of sugar). strain into a heat-proof goblet when hot. It makes a delicious recipe for negus, with lbv port, claret, sparkling burgundy wine, brandy, water, lemon, nutmeg and sugar.
